Choose natural fibers - cotton and wool over polyester and nylon
The materials and fabrics we buy directly impact and contribute to: consumption of water, microplastic pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, soil degradation, rainforest destruction and lastly landfill waste of epic proportions. We recommend natural materials like Cotton and Wool, instead of Polyester and Nylon (which are petroleum-based and take hundreds of years to biodegrade).
Donate, resell and repurpose!
There are numerous ways to repurpose your clothes for different needs - old t-shirts can become cleaning cloths, helping you end your reliance on paper towels. Or try making stuffed animals or dolls, t-shirt quilts, and scarves from items you already have at home.
